Days of our Lives

Nadia Bjorlin’s portrayal of the intriguingly versatile character of Chloe Lane has been different than any other character seen on Days of our Lives thus far. Chloe Lane first came to town in 1999 as Salem’s outcast, or as most of Salem High called her, “Ghoul Girl.” She suffered through emotional heartbreak with her first love, Philip Kiriakis; but soon realized her friendship-turned love for (then) bad-boy Brady Black.

Chloe’s true dream was to become a famous opera singer; however, that dream was temporarily destroyed when she became ill with Leukemia. Fate was on Chloe’s side when her parents, Craig and Nancy Wesley became pregnant, and the baby was a match for the bone marrow Chloe needed to survive. Her true aspirations were finally accomplished when she was called off to Europe to tour with a well-known Opera company in 2003, leaving her family and life in Salem behind.

Making a few return trips back home, her last one almost took her life, and in some ways did. She was left scarred because of a car accident in Austria, and was assumed to be dead (with the help of her mother, Nancy) by all the Salem residents, until her face and voice were re-constructed.

After months of hiding herself from civilization, a few of the Salem residents began to realize that Chloe was not dead afterall. With a little manipulation from Chloe's arch-rival, Nicole, her and Chloe headed out of Salem before Brady could ever find out the truth. But, before they did, Brady found out that Chloe was indeed alive and stopped the plane Chloe was boarding. They reunited and decided to stay at Isabella's cottage, a place Brady's mother called home while she was sick. Chloe continued to torment herself about her scars, so she decided to have plastic surgery to fully re-construct her face. Knowing what a true miracle it was to have Chloe back in his life, Brady proposed marriage to Chloe and she accepted. Their wedding day quickly approached, as did the surgery, and both turned out beautifully. Chloe's scars were miraculously healed, and Brady and Chloe became one in the sacrament of matrimony. As they bid farewell to Salem on a long honeymoon, they left with the hope of returning one day in the future.

And Chloe did return to television screens in late 2007 with an air of mystery and edge...but where was Brady? She claimed he was kidnapped, but time will tell what happened to her husband.

Nadia has portrayed the contract role of Chloe Lane since 1999.

  E! Search Party

Nadia appeared on the E! Network on their television series, Search Party (original airdates - March 27 and Apr. 3, 2000). She was a guest along with fellow Days of Our Lives star, Kevin Spirtas. The show took place in Maui, Hawaii, and required them to compete in athletic events and scavenger hunts.

Nadia had this to say about the experience: (from her March 14, 2000 online chat) "...I did "Search Party" for E! Entertainment Television in Hawaii and they wanted me to be host for one of the episodes one day. That was definitely crazy! I even walked up to an elderly man and asked him if I could dump and entire can of shaving cream down his pants — and he let me empty the entire can!! And for the show I also asked a guy if he would take all of his clothes off in public — AND HE DID !! That whole show was pretty crazy!!"
