LA Neurofibromatosis (NF) Glow Walk

81_03Nadia will be attending the Children’s Tumor Foundation’s LA Walk for Neurofibromatosis (NF) on October 22, 2016. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow throughout the body on nerves.

This event is more than just a walk in the park! This awesome event celebrates the brave NF Heroes who live with neurofibromatosis, and raises funds for critical NF research. Registration opens at 4:30 PM and the walk begins at 6:00 PM; the Glow in The Dark Afterparty is 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. After the walk, participants can bid on the chance to sing with their favorite celebrity during the Glow in The Dark Afterparty featuring celebrity karaoke.

The LA Walk for Neurofibromatosis will take place at the CBS Studio Center, 424 Radford Avenue, Studio City, CA.

Register on the Childen’s Tumor Foundation’s LA NF Glow Walk fundraising page.

One in three thousand people are living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that can cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. NF can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and disabling pain. Currently there is no cure and no effective treatments for NF, but we’re walking to change that.
