TV Guide and Wonder Woman
TV Guide’s “It’s on the Letters” recently mentioned the movie “Wonder Woman” and Nadia.
“My husband and I are unhappy with the names being tossed around for the lead in the Wonder Woman movie [The Ausiello Report, 1/9]. With Lynda Carter as the standard, we’d nominate Nadia Bjorlin of Days of Our Lives. Her hair, eyes, complexion and build mirror the comic and TV incarnations far better then Sarah Michelle Gellar or Charisma Carpenter.”

Stars Reveal Their Strategies for Shaping Up and Slimming Down Taken for a Glide
When Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) went looking for exercise equipment to use at home, she investigated fitness guru Tony Little’s popular Gazelle. “I hate anything cardio, like treadmills,” says Bjorlin. “The Gazelle actually looked kind of fun.”
At RPM Fitness Studio in North Hollywood, Bjorlin received a personal demonstration from Little himself. “She makes this machine look wonderful!” he smiled. The low-impact glider so impressed Bjorlin that she also ordered one on the spot for her mother. “She has back problems, so this will be the perfect exercise machine for her to use,” enthuses the actress.

FishBowl.com — Coming Out with Reichen
Nadia has recently joined the internet radio show as a co-host on TheFishBowl.com, called “Coming Out With Reichen”. The host, Reichen Lehmkuhl, was a winner on CBS’s “Amazing Race 4” in 2003.
Nadia says this about her experience:
“I love doing this radio show with Reichen, it is a safe place for people of all ages, race and religion to come to and talk about their issues about coming out. Suicide is the #1 killer among gay teens because of the pressures they face from their peers and their families. On the radio show I am the token “straight” voice for people wanting to come out. We also talk about religion, spirituality, safe sex and many issues that concern us today. I think as a celebrity there is a responsibility that comes with the territory.”
“Coming Out With Reichen” airs Tuesdays – 8:00 p.m.ET/5:00PT on TheFishBowl.com.

12 Questions in 12 Minutes with Days’ Nadia Bjorlin
Besides guesting on the premiere of ABC’s Jake in Progress, a role in the FOX pilot Barenaked Ladies and recording an album, Nadia Bjorlin is back as Days of our Lives’ tortured heroine, Chloe. That is, when she’s not being squired about town by her beau, Bruce Willis.
1. What was it like working with John Stamos on Jake in Progress?
He’s mesmerizingly gorgeous, still. He’s a nice guy, easygoing and has no ego whatsoever. It was fun working with him.
2. What can you share about your pilot, Barenaked Ladies?
It’s based on the Canadian rock band, Barenaked Ladies, which is hugely successful. It’s a half-hour comedy in the genre of Scrubs. It’s got that same insane humor. It’s all about the guys in the band. They’re playing themselves. Chris Williams, Vanessa Williams’ brother, is the band manager. I play his assistant, Kiki. We tour with the band, and I am the object of their fantasies and lust.
3. Do you ever get tired of playing the sexpot?
I can’t complain. It’s funny, because I don’t consider myself “the hot girl.” Yet, that’s the role they keep giving me. I take it as a compliment, though.
4. Did you always know you had a flair for comedy?
Kind of. At fan events, I’ve always had people tell me, “You’re really funny.” I know that comedy is different from just being funny, but I like it. Hopefully, it shows.
5. Despite other projects, you keep coming back to Days. Why?
I can’t get enough (laughs)! I can’t break the ties. I love Days so much. It’s been my home for the past five years. And they’ve been kind enough to let me come back recurring.
6. Obviously, Days wants you to sign a contract. Are you considering it?
That’s something I’m always thinking about. I can’t write it off and ‘no’ right away. I’ll have to see what happens with this whole pilot thing — or if something else comes my way.
7. In the event Days recasts, how would you feel seeing Chloe in the hands of another actress?
I’ll be very jealous, very critical and I won’t like it at all. I’ll always see Chloe as being my baby. I don’t know if I’d want to watch [a recast]. There might be regret there.
8. What’s it been like playing Chloe all scarred and battered?
It sucks to have to put all the scars and bandages on, but then it makes you think about people who go through this in real life. It humbles you. I can’t imagine what it must be like to have the real thing and have to put up with that pain. I like the fact that my character has always had some sort of trauma. That makes her more real and helps people with their own issues.
9. Are there any perks to palying a hospital patient?
I never have to go to wardrobe for fittings. I’m always in scrubs, so I’m comfortable. That’s a bonus. And not having to wear any make-up.
10. You’ve barely worked with Kyle Lowder (Brady). Do you miss that?
Though I’m not directly working with him, I see him all the time. He’s there every time I’m at the studio.
11. What would be your ultimate Chloe/Brady reunion scene?
Hopefully, it will be me playing Chloe [laughs]. That’s my ultimate fantasy. I haven’t thought much farther than that.
12. What can you share about your love life and Bruce Willis?
Honestly, I’m sorry to give you the boring quote, but I can’t comment on my personal life. I’ve learned that it’s just not a good idea.

Sex, Love, & Secrets (UPN)
Nadia has shot the pilot for “Sex, Love, and Secrets” (formerly named “Wildlife” and “Sex, Lies, and Secrets”). The show has been picked up by UPN, and the cast will begin taping episodes in July 2005. Nadia portrays a “love ’em and leave ’em” flight attendant, however it is unknown at this time if she will be a recurring or contract player.”Sex, Love, and Secrets” will air on UPN on Tuesday nights 9pm/ET.
Days of our Lives Fan Weekend
Nadia attended the Days of our Lives fan weekend, held in Studio City the weekend of June 3-5, 2005. She attended the Friday and Sunday events and met fans from all over the United States and Canada.
Are you wondering why Nadia did not attend the Saturday fan events? She was busy attending good friend Susan Ward’s wedding. Guess who caught the bouquet?
The end of Days of our Lives?
The rumors are flying rampant about Nadia’s exit from Days of our Lives, and the rumors are true. Nadia posted this on the Nadia-Bjorlin.com Forums:
“So, for anyone who wasn’t at the events last weekend, I sort of officially announced that I’m leaving the show. Again. I know Farah had said something, but it wasn’t really known yet, and I think she was assuming. TPTB have decided to wrap up the Chloe and Brady storyline…but I think it will be a great ending….unless I’m back again 3 weeks later! Who knows….
But the new UPN show has asked me to do some more episodes of “Sex, Love and Secrets”, which is great, and if everyone watches, they might let me stay, and have a job. But I promise you all that I really do let you know when something is definitive. I don’t like to speak too soon.”
Questions have been pouring in regarding Chloe’s wedding dress — it was specially designed by Days’ Costume Designer Richard Bloore. Richard Bloore had this to say about the dress: “It’s really tough to make her [Nadia] look bad. It’s not a dress for everybody and she knows how to work it. She loved it and she felt really comfortable in it and carried it off.”
Questions have also been pouring in about “Forever Yours,” the song that Chloe and Brady (Kyle Lowder) sang at their wedding. It is not being released on an album at this time, but if Ken Corday decides to release it to the general public, you’ll read it here first!
One on One with Nadia Bjorlin
Soapcity.com – September 2005
It’s finally happened! Brady and Chloe have tied the knot! All those BROE fans out there certainly couldn’t be happier as their favorite couple exchanged vows in a lavish and luscious ceremony, followed by a reception that has truly pulled out all the stops. We sat down with one half of BROE, Nadia Bjorlin, to get her take on the couple and all its history.
Soapcity: Do you have any favorite Brady/Chloe moments?
Nadia: I would say probably my favorite moments are always when we’ve had a chance to sing together, no matter what it is. We always had a really good time doing that. With The Sound of Music stuff, even if some of it was maybe slightly “corny” or whatever you want to call it, we actually had a good time doing it. Some of the more memorable moments were us singing together.
Soapcity: Did you like the song you did for the wedding?
Nadia: Yes. It was really nice.
Soapcity: The couple was separated for so long, but they still remained extremely popular. Does that surprise you?
Nadia: Am I surprised?! No. Why have they? I think it’s because they had such a good beginning; it was such a good set-up especially with the whole music thing. It kind of made people fall in love with them to begin with. They were both sort of angry, troubled kids, so to speak. We sort of watched them grow up in a sense together. Then there wasn’t much closure when Chloe left the first time. In that sense, it was like, okay, Brady loved her so much, that’s why he let her go. And that’s really, really sweet! It’s one of those love stories where you go “come on!” It’s just too good to be true. I think that’s why there’s that devotion to them because it was love waiting to happen. It’s the kind of stuff that people dream of.
Soapcity: When Brady finally did find Chloe again at the airport, was that emotional for you and for the couple?
Nadia: It was and it was slightly frustrating, that whole cape thing for like two or three days, before he actually saw her! It was, but in a sense I’d seen Kyle so much, so it wasn’t like I missed him. But I think there was this whole anticipation for months and months and months, we were waiting for it, too. Come on, when is this going to happen? It was nice and just the energy that day between Kyle, Arianne and myself was really great those couple of days. It was nice to just let it all out, why Chloe had done what she’d done. I would say they were high-powered moments for all of us, in real life. And for Chloe, well, I have a hard time differentiating between the two.
Soapcity: Did you like the touch that Brady couldn’t see Chloe’s scars?
Nadia: I think it was sweet. I think they quickly segued into it being more like he saw them but her inner beauty shone through. I don’t think it could’ve continued with him saying, “no, there’s nothing wrong with you” because it couldn’t have gone anywhere. He would’ve thought there was something wrong with her. He wouldn’t have sent her to a doctor; he would’ve sent her to a shrink! I guess in the end it was a sweet touch to say, listen, it’s irrelevant because I actually don’t see them because it doesn’t bother me at all.
Soapcity: Do you think there was part of Chloe, during the separation, that really wanted Brady to move heaven and earth to find her?
Nadia: Oh, of course! Doesn’t every girl?! There’s always that part of you, when you’re trying to do something and you’re thinking it’s for the better, you kind of go, but I’m not happy. This isn’t how I thought things would be or wanted things. And of course, there’s always that aspect of, gee, I wish I was hot!
Soapcity: How was the wedding? Besides really long?!
Nadia: It was actually a lot of fun. As long as the work hours were. We were there a long time. I think I was there eighteen hours a day. I don’t even know. It was sweet and it was kind of fun to spend our last week with everybody. People we haven’t really had a chance to work with or really see in any other circumstance. That was kind of fun. Because the scenes were so big, there was a lot of good down time to sort of talk to each other and have fun. Amongst the seriousness and the vows and things that were so sweet, a lot of it was very real. It felt very real. It was us coming to that point in life after we’d sort of grown up together there. We just kind of looked at each other and went “wow.”
DAYS: Bjorlin on Exit
Soap Opera Digest – September 13, 2005
Nadia Bjorlin will bid farewell to Salem – again – when Brady and Chloe go off on their long honeymoon.
“Once again it’s bittersweet,” sighs the actress, who first left Salem in 2003. “But I really like how it’s ending. It’s kind of been nice to work these long, hard days and nights leading up to the end. I think it’s definitely different for Kyle [Lowder, Brady] because he has been working nonstop and this is the first time that he is leaving.”
Bjorlin won’t be off the small screen for long: Fans can catch her on UPN’s fall series SEX, LOVE AND SECRETS, on which she has a recurring role. “I’m in the first two episodes of the season, but I think they’re working on episode number five now and I’m not in so far, so we’ll see,” she notes. “You can’t really put all your eggs in one basket. I’m just thankful for any work. So, it’s back to the grind and back to reality of going out there and being able to audition. I haven’t been able to audition because I’ve been under contract here for the past three months.”
The actress has enjoyed coming and going from Salem. “It’s been amazing,” she raves. “It felt like I’d been on contract the whole time, like I never left. People were very nice and welcoming. And I’ll be back to visit; I can’t stay away from this place, but of course it’ll be weird.”
And she isn’t ruling out a return. “This place has been very good to me. I’ve loved it,” she smiles. “I love the fans, I love the people, love everyone here. I actually went today and looked at the work schedule for the next three weeks and I was kind of hoping my name was on there somewhere. I’m such a geek. So, you never know. I might be back after the honeymoon.”
NBC Gossip : Bridal Rave
Soap Opera Digest – September 20, 2005
Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe) says she was able to find some humorous moments during the long hours of taping the Brady/Chloe wedding.
“We were joking around in rehearsals because Belle fainted during the wedding and I was like, ‘This wedding is so not about me,'” she laughs. “Belle said to Chloe, ‘I’ve ruined your wedding,’ and in rehearsal, I said, ‘My friend, Martha [Madison, Belle]. It’s all about Martha. Martha, Martha, Martha.’ I couldn’t use Belle because Martha works so perfectly in the ‘Marcia, Marcia, Marcia’ [from the Brady Bunch] way. There was a lot of laughing. As hard as the hours were, we actually had a really good time.”
And she reports, her on-screen parents got sentimental. “Kevin Spirtas [Craig] and Patrika Darbo [Nancy] had their cameras and were like, ‘Oh, my baby’s getting married.’ I said, ‘Guys, it’s not real. You’ll be invited to my real wedding when it happens!'”
Nadia’s 3rd SoapTalk Appearance
Nadia appeared on SoapNet’s SoapTalk on October 19, 2005. She dished with hosts, Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway about Days of our Lives, Sex, Love & Secrets, her love life, and other current projects.
